The pole, ribs, hubs, runner and finial are all made using laminated bamboo. All metal fittings are stainless steel to prevent rusting for a long lasting quality finish. Despite its size this parasol is designed so that when closed it will still sit at a height that is above the table when not in use.

The moso species of bamboo produces a superior finish and excellent grain definition whilst the unique manufacturing process ensures strength and durability. This is reflected in the thickness of the poles, ranging from 38mm to 58mm for the larger sizes. The Suncrylic material has anti-fade properties and comes in a wider range of neutral tones from black to ice white.
